To enter coordinates either:
- Select an area on the map on the right with the Shift and Ctrl keys pressed.
- Zoom and pan the map on the right (Shift-select) until it shows your area of interest. Then click the map-and-magnifying-glass OpenStreetMap icon
on the right of the text field.
- Type them manually as W, S, E, N; decimal degrees separated by comma.
- Bookmark the following link:
Garmin tiles,
and click it when you're at www.openstreetmap.org.
- Paste the result of typing javascript:getMapExtent() in the address bar at openstreetmap.org.
Probably, not all methods will work in all browsers (all methods work in Firefox 3.04, Opera 9.27, and IE7; the first three work in Konqueror 3.5.10).
